Hello, my name is Scott!
The core philosophy and foundation of Selling U is to consistently provide value and build solid, trusting, long-term relationships. This site and the free weekly e-Newsletter are examples of doing just that.
Selling U was launched as a result of combining sales and graphic design experience with customer demand. Prior to starting Selling U, owner Scott Gillespie developed a referral generating program for the local Chamber of Commerce as well as provided several sales training events over the years that received very positive feedback.
As a result, requests and demand grew from business owners and people in sales for more and more help in the areas of sales, networking and referral generation.
Along the way, Scott also helped a few
businesses with their websites and other
marketing material development. The word got
out and demand in that area grew as well.

A strong desire and drive to continuously help people provides the motivation behind Selling U. It's an incredible feeling to see someone succeed and knowing that you were there to help.
That feeling applies not only to helping those that are in sales, but also to all of the other customers I've had along the way by helping them obtain the product or service that I represented. In other words, the harder and smarter we work together, and the better you perform and succeed, the better I feel and the harder I continue to work for you!
